Longley, Charles Thomas

(1794–1868)
   Archbishop.
Longley had a distinguished career in the Church of England. After serving as headmaster of Harrow School, he was consecrated Bishop of Ripon in 1836, Bishop of Durham in 1856, Archbishop of York in 1860 and Archbishop of Canterbury in 1862.
